Poem
This poem "tumi nirmolo koro mongolo-kore" is an immortal creation of Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore. This poem has been written before Independence. The poet urges the people to lead a simple and peaceful life and wipe out the greediness, which is the only way to salvation and to make a sin free society. Here the poet also prays to God to guide us on the path to rightness.

The poet here says that he wants God to guide him and advice as he cannot see and know anything and urges God to navigate to follow the right path.

Summary
This poem is wholly constructed upon the spiritual mentality of the poet and his belief upon God. It is basically a prayer or a song to God which has been written in the form of a poem. Throughout this poem the poet speaks about the greed and lust of mankind which is the only reason for the woes and suffering of the people. Greed destroys the soul of a man and makes it impure. Everyone would speak the utter truth and salvation could be reached by all. Such a place on earth could be no better than heaven. In order to create such a world the poet wants God to lead mankind and show him the right path, to make the world a better place, closer to paradise.
